ETCH is an technical equipment whose principle is to supervise connected contact between two electrical terminals and to transfer physical state to monitoring and signaling equipment : alert, alarm, disturbance.

The ETCH has its own address and it is connected to the fire detection bus in the same way as other detector in the Orion range. It has a short-circuit isolator as a basis for secured extensions in a loop system, in accordance with the applicable installation rules.

The ETCH is configured locally and by downloading to respond to one of operating modes, thus offering a great flexibility in the type of contacts monitored to the nature of the potential states transferred to the DHW and to the possible use of an order.

In addition, it has a compatibility with the technical alarms of the VEGA range.
