The ORION+ detector is an addressable combined detector who has a detection head and a base.

The ORION + analyzes an atmosphere by measuring several parameters:

- temperature

- the reflection of IR and red light on the smoke particles according to the TYNDALL effect

The combination of the infrared and red signals allows a more precise analysis of the type of smoke.

The thermistor is used to sensitize the detector to open fireplaces (by measuring the temperature gradient).

Orion+’s character is distinguish redundant element, such as vapour, and adjust automatically sensitivity, in particual for open fireplaces. The new generation of optical element guarantees the resistance to the phenomenon of dusting.

Depending on the associated control unit, it is possible to program:

- the type of detector event (heat or heat + smoke)

- the change of threshold according to time cycles

This detector has a red indicator light used to signal the fire alarm. An output allows remote repetition of this information.

Manufactured according to own processes, its aesthetic, at the same time sober and discreet, allows it to integrate in any architecture.
